Traditional Furniture Businesss

The Woodberrys were cabinetmakers in Holcombe Rogis over 250 years ago, but in 1949 Jack Woodberry set up business in Highbridge, supplying local schools with desks and benches. In the late 1960s Jack pioneered a new manufacturing system that totally revolutionized the entire industry. Woodberry Bros & Haines became the first UK manufacturer to utilize synthetic veneer and the Caxton range was born, taking its name from another famous innovator, William Caxton, pioneer of the printing press. The company went from strength to strength and is still the largest UK manufacturer to use this technique.

It gives our ranges the most authentic wood effect finishes, whilst keeping prices affordable and minimizing deforestation. Bath Cabinet Makers established an enviable reputation for fine furniture in the mid 19th century. We have built on this heritage and Bath Cabinets continue to offer classic dining room collections in both solids and veneers. Woodberry Bathrooms, the latest addition to the family, supplies a wide range of bathroom cabinets to major distributors throughout the UK. With continuous investment we’ve become the UK’s premier manufacturer of domestic furniture with approximately 250 employees, a 500,000 ft sq production facility, the very latest in heavy plant and machinery and a fleet that delivers nationwide to warehouses, retailers and direct to the public.
